They are indeed lovely colours. The high winds of the recent days seem to have brought a whole season of leaves down adding even more to the normal range of Autumn colours.
We don't have the typical "Fall Color" in the desert, just a few plants that turn golden and drop leaves. The ripping citrus give us the most fall colors. The Red Bird Of Paradise are blooming everywhere and the Texas Sage or Texas Ranger that blooms from a pale lavender to a deep purple.
That window reminds me of a Cambridge College. Glad to see you have maples. Our flag. Of course you know that. Thanks for your Group Activity comment....
Having just come back from California I was looking forward to seeing the autumn colors here in NYC but the trees haven't begun to change as yet. Your area looks beautiful!
These Autumn shades are truly spectacular! Each season really does have its own remarkable beauty and presence, none more so than each of the others. What a glorious world we call home.
The Virginia Creeper around the window - so romantic! I love fall!
ReplyDeleteYou've captured some beautiful colours here. Love them all. The garden is particularly stunning.
