80

It was my aunt's 80th birthday last week. A few of us met up and went out for dinner at the Duke of York in Pomeroy; a tiny little place in the High Peak of Derbyshire.

It was a lovely sunny day and a good time was had by all.

Up here, you really can see for miles.

  1. What a gorgeous little olde English building and the stonework on the wall is inbelievably intricate. Beautiful views! So glad you all had a lovely day. Turning 80 is certainly a landmark to be celebrated joyfully :)

  3. It looks like you had a perfect day to celebrate a milestone birthday. I'd love to visit that pub and wished I could see what it looks like inside, what you ate - I am so nosy!

  5. Well composed interesting photos. You have a good eye. Thanks for sharing. Did your aunt have her photo taken with a multi-tiered birthday cake bearing the appropriate number of candles? I bet she had a number 80 with a single candle-light....
