Llanberis Pass

The Nant Peris river tumbles down Llanberis Pass...

and the rays of the sinking sun tinge the tops of the crags...

...culminating in a beautiful sunset sky.

  2. These are mysterious and wonderful. When I make it over the big pond, this is where I want to go for a time. Awesome, H.

  3. What a rugged landscape - I never think of that when I think of the UK.

  4. One of my favourite passes. I once drove through here when it was snowing heavily and walkers were trudging along the narrow road, wrapped in plastic bags, capes, anything they could lay their hands on.

  5. Lovely photos from a tough craggy landscape. Why does every other Welsh name start with a double L ?

  8. Breathtaking. I don't know what you did with your focus, but I love how in that first one, the foreground is more focused and you let the mystery of what's around that bend be softer to go along with that rolling mist on the hillside. What great shots!
