Jack Frost has been busy around here lately, freezing the snow, crusting up the car and chasing the feeling from my fingers and my toes and my nose.
As Ben had no college today, we thought we would spend a little time building a friend for Jack. Ben decided to name him Jeff. (I decided on the spelling - for obvious reasons - hehe :p ).
So, please say "Hi" to Jack's friend Jeff!
We had great fun building him and he is still standing in my garden, iced with a dusting of freshly fallen snow. I wonder what the foxes will make of him!
If you have time, why not take a jaunt over to Alphabe-Thursday at Miss Jenny's, to explore other contributions for J?
Great snow man! I must show this to the children. They made a snow man when the first snow fell. But now it is so cold, I don't want them to be out so long. It was minus 17 degrees Celsius this morning (1.4 degrees Fahrenheit.)

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome looking snowman. I hope Jeff stays a while for Ben to play with.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Great J post! If we drove up Mt. Lemmon, about an hour from our house, we would find snow, but none in Tucson!
ReplyDeleteJack's friend is a handsome fellow! From what I hear on the weather reports from your part of the world, I'll be he's still hale and hearty!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like Jack's friend. Very much!

Wow! That seems like alot of snow for this early in December. Here in Texas, we might get a December snow this year....but more than likely it will be in January if at all. Cool Snowman...thanks to Jack...Frost!
ReplyDeleteHe's a smart looking fellow and I do love his scarf ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're clearly having lots of fun, despite the super-chilly conditions.
Cute little guy! I have to tell you the story of when some neighborhood kids would kick down our snowman every morning. One day, we decided to make him out of ice. The next morning, our kids watched out the window as the mean kids came down the street. They got quite the surprise when they kicked our snowman, and went quickly hopping away! Our kids just sat in the window giggling :)
ReplyDeleteHe's a keeper for sure :)

Hi Jeff! I really can't remember when I last built a snowman... I grew up with lots of snow, but 25 years ago I moved to Asia, and well, no snow here! Just thinking of snow makes me shiver... Brrr... You post some pretty snow pictures, though!
ReplyDeleteFoxes in the garden, that must be such a pretty sight! I love the snowman Jeff, perfect name for a lovely frozen garden pal!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeff! You look so happy munching away on your carrot!
