Ha, same as Morning AJ - I see a smiling lion and my favourites, with lots of happy memories, are those outside the town hall in Nottingham in Slab Square:)
Wonderful. You do live in a most beautiful place. I see a face and also the lions head. I agree that it looks like something you would see in front of s building, park or a square.
Well, yeah. NH had the Old Man of the Mountain forever until its nose fell off. Sad really since it was such a distinctive face. We still have the Indian Head up the road from there but it's nowhere near as magical as the OMotM was.
I do.. and my first thought was a lion too, then thought it was my strange take on things, then I saw all the other comments...maybe not so strange then.
Looks leonine to me. Like it should be in Trafalgar Square. (Or outside the town hall in Nottingham)

ReplyDeleteLike a lot of your other blog friends, I see a lions face - it reminds me of the older Simba in The Lion King. It's a great photo! :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely - a wise old lion. You live in an amazingly diverse landscape!
