Around the Estate, there was a childrens' trail with small scenes to discover. You can probably spot one of the stops hiding among the trees. See who you can recognise.
The Wombles of Wimbledon Common
But which Womble is this?
(Answers at the bottom of the post.)
Thomas the Tank Engine needs no introduction, but do you know who is with him?
But I'm not sure whether this one belongs to a story or not.

Such whimsy was totally unexpected and delightful.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter if that dragonfly belongs in any story ~ it sure belongs in this wonderland.
I can just hear children's laughter and giggles as they make their way along the trail and discover all the hidden treasures...how magical!
ReplyDeleteMy two year old grandson would know who was with Thomas! He has almost all the trains from this show :) He loves his train sets.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a wonderful place for children!
THis looks like a lovely place for children. I know Thomas the tank but that;s all. My grandchildren have outgrown these lovely places.
ReplyDeleteThey are very good with things like this - always something for Hallowe'en and Firework night and Christmas. Magical place.
