While the lads were away at camp, I spent a few days up in Shipley with a friend and we had the pleasure of joining others of our New Wine 'family' for Sunday dinner.
I've posted photos of this garden once before, as has Jenny Freckles on her blog, but it is the kind of place that is worth showcasing again and again; steeply terraced and bursting with colour!
Because it was such a bright day, some of the photos are not quite as sharp as I would like, but you can still get the feel of just how vibrant this oasis really is.
Now, I'll stop interrupting and allow you to enjoy the rest in peace.
A gorgeous garden and a delightful afternoon :)
I am in love! If it were mine...It wouldn't be NEAR as pretty, but I love it! It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place! The colours of the flowers and the blue of the shed against the stone - perfect.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely garden - the water lillies are very pretty:)
ReplyDeleteIt is the sort of garden one would expect to encounter a little band of elves under the leaves - exquisite.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very beautiful garden. LOve the steps and the flowers next to them and so are the pots. Gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... so FABULOUS !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
I agree about the elves! Something about this makes me really want to go build fairy houses, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a paradise...I could linger for hours - all the different levels, stone, paths - everything works beautifully together...obviously a place that is truly loved by its gardener.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Oooooooooo and ahhhhhhhhh. This is right up my alley. What a tranquil place to spend some time in reflection.
ReplyDeleteSweet English cottage garden!
ReplyDeleteI love the visits we've been treated to of this truly remarkable garden! I could never tire of such a beautiful place and would want to spend all day out there! It's looking absolutely glorious at this time of the year. A testament to the loving care and design afforded by the owners! Thank you for sharing it with us. Could we see more, please? I am sure you took lots of pictures!
