By the time we had topped Kirkstone Pass and dropped down past brothers Water to Ullswater, the sun was trying to break through the clouds and the light was dancing on the water.
This really is a gorgeous lake.
Looking the other way, a solitary figure was heading down the track, all kitted out for a day of walking. Would you enjoy a walk amongst these fells?
I'd definitely enjoy a walk there, gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteI have an Ullswater shot here right in front of the computer. Might just be my favourite lake. Could be ready to go in half an hour - pity it would take me so much longer to get there.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I've walked over that saddle and beyond =D
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day I will again
and yes, Ullswater is a fabulous lake
What's all the fuss about? It's just WATER!
ReplyDeleteThat's what our walking group guide used to say when we complained about the rain....
I love that photo of the wall and road above! So inviting!
Hope you will enjoy all your autumn walks coming up, and keep on clicking!
I enlarged the photo of the wall and road and wished I could head right out on it.
ReplyDeleteYes it is lovely and I imagine very peaceful
ReplyDeleteThe lake looks so mysterious in this light. Would I like to stroll down that perfect lane? You bet! Your photograph is so beautiful! I wish it were possible to simply step into the landscape from here.
