This (Scout Scar) must surely be one of the finest viewpoints in England, for you can see at least 120 hills and mountains in the Lake District, Yorkshire and Lancashire from it, as well as less interesting features such as Blackpool Tower, far away across Morecambe Bay.

With such a panorama I was a bit stumped about which bit to show you, but I settled on the view of Morecambe Bay...

Mind boggling?!
What do you mean, you can't see it?
:/
OK - Just for you, here's a bit of help...

Better?
No?! :(
Maybe I'd better switch back a couple of weeks then and show you what we saw on our way home after installing Mark in his new accommodation.
How's that?
(More views of Morecambe Bay to follow)
You are such a commedian, H. This is priceless and you had me chortling heartily. Great sketch! The unfoggy view is, indeed, spectacular! I'm looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteI just love that third photo of the bay! You totally crack me up :) That last photo is indeed amazing so I can't wait to see more views of the place once it de-fogs :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteToday's blog and the view!
Oops. That's definitely one 'm' too many!
ReplyDeleteHaha! That's priceless. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! We get fog like that from time to time and it obliterates even the mountains.
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting photos of snow next please. After all, it is forecast!
ReplyDeleteIt's been foggy here too ~ on the good days. The rest of the time, it's been raining.
ReplyDeleteI love that crayon mark-up shot. I'd frame that one. The last is a spectacular view. You need to cross over the pond to see what we've got over here. You'll be in heaven. Guaranteed. (Unless it's foggy.)
Ok, I'm happy with that last shot! But those other ones are fun to see too.
ReplyDeleteLoved this post. You have a great sense of humour!
ReplyDeleteLooks like before and after I put my glasses on! The view is stunning:)
