Stock Ghyll rising


Up here is where Stock Ghyll has its source; on Kirkstone Pass.

 

Tumbling down the fellside , it gradually increases in size and force...


...heading for Ambleside, the River Rothay and distant Windermere.


The startled sheep is just a bonus :)
