Around Derwentwater 2 - Low Brandlehow



The Keswick Launch Company runs boats around the lake throughout the year, stopping off at seven landing stages, including this one at Low Brandlehow. Boats travel both clockwise and anti-clockwise, with the round trip taking 50 minutes.

    Rosie says it all :) I think that first photo would make a super screensaver.

    So, it's a fair-sized body of water with a round trip taking about 50 minutes and with 7 landing spots. Sounds like a perfectly lovely way to enjoy a day!

    Will you please stop making me nostalgic? Please? I proposed to my first wife on a boat on Derwentwater. We stayed in Keswick.... Great photos, would like a view straight on down the dock as well next time.
