Blencathra


This is Blencathra, between Keswick and Penrith, taken from the road above Ullswater.

(When I took the photo, I didn't notice the hi-vis guy on the roof)


...and here, taken from the main A66 heading towards Keswick.

    These are beautiful. Don't you just hate wwhen someone shows up in your photo after you've taken it?

    That house - somehow the fellow on the roof makes it all so real - not some wonderful fairy tale cottage, but a real home.
