Gateway @ Taylor's Lane


Another gateway, this one in the Derbyshire Dales above Wirksworth 
(and I can assure you that it isn't my picture which is sloping).

This gate falls into the category 'lift and swing ;)

    Beautiful. I love gates - want to lean on them and dream a little, walk through them, swing on them. That looks like a good one!

    Ah the real kind of gate and very unlike all the wretched gates that seem to be increasingly populating urban areas which enable residents to open them electronically and shut the rest of society out of their own private lives.
