This metal dolphin fountain is outside Hayes Garden Centre, Waterhead (between Windermere and Ambleside). I couldn't decide whether or not I liked it, but I do like the reflections on the shiny surface of the steel.
It reminds me of the spheres in Sheffield.
I like shiny things too. These are crisp photos!
ReplyDeleteI tend to like things with a little tarnish, a little moss or lichen. These dolphins are lovely, though.
ReplyDeleteI like the fountain of dolphins and love the reflections in it. Perhaps it is the location of it that is the problem - it would be better on the coast or at a water park of some kind:)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I can't comment here using Firefox as a browser. I've had to use Safari. It's blogs with embedded comments that I'm having trouble with. The ones with pop-up are fine. Anyway, just wanted to say that I like this sculpture!
