Around Derwentwater 5 - A sheep with a view

After navigating the shore, we climbed up to the bridleway which runs along the side of Catbells, turning back south to complete our walk.

There are definitely some things which would be good about being a sheep!

  1. Exquisite scenery! The colours are amazing and I can only imagine the transformation of this scene once spring arrives! It all looks so very peaceful. What a truly wonderful place!

  4. What things? Would you enjoy eating grass? having a sheep dip? being shorn? having to share a ram? I wonder if sheep enjoy scenery like this, living all the time in fresh air with rain, snow, wind, and having to be painted red, yellow, green , blue, on their wool? Do you really envy them? please elaborate! Photography excellent as usual! Thanks for sharing H.
