RAT!
Cautious rat
Emerging rat
Spiky rat
Nibbling rat
Departing rat
I'm linking my photos of this rare and wondrous rodent to Jenny Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday. For more rousing 'R' posts, follow the link.
Everything is fine until we get to that last photograph. If I was a rat's spin doctor I would encourage it to dump its' tail.
ReplyDeleteYes, Alan has a point. Until you see the giveaway tail, you're simply viewing a gorgeous little bundle of fur. Who couldn't love it? Then...you're reminded, it's a RAT! You're supposed to not like or wish to pet those! Hard, when they, too, are so appealing ;)
ReplyDeleteSuper pictures, H!
I have to say, that is actually a very cute rat!! Didn't expect such a cutie...
ReplyDeleteMaggy
We used to live in Nanaimo, BC. had a compost box, found one day it had been converted into a high-rise apartment block for rats. When adding compost, a sentinal rat would peer up at us to see what was coming. Then he would report back to the others below. " Do we want orange peel lads?" "No?" " OK No orange peel mister." " Thanks all the same"
ReplyDeleteNice clock. Where did you get it?
I am not afraid of rats at all I find them cute !
ReplyDeleteReticent Rat
ReplyDeleteReconnoitering Rat
Ruffled Rat
Repast-taking Rat
Retiring Rat
Really remarkable rat, rightly recorded.
Like Gattina, I fear no rat. However, I can't truthfully say that I find any rat cute!
ReplyDeleteThe name vermin fits them well, for me.
=)
Best one was the departing rat...lol...
ReplyDeleteRats!! eeeeek lol those turned out actually pretty well and I love the descriptive nouns
ReplyDeleteUgh! We have a mouse and I have seen it a few times. NOT in the trap. I say I'm not afraid until I think about it running across my feet or on my counter...ick!
ReplyDeleteAww...he's cute. Though, I'd freak if I saw him in the house or if he touched me.
ReplyDeleteshudder.....
ReplyDeletethey really really really creep me out..
From time to time I see beady eyes down in our feed shed, so I know that there are rats around, but they are more afraid of me than I am of them.
ReplyDeleteWe have pack rats here. They are really cute but they are known to eat the wiring in one's car. We use a safe trap, then take them out into the desert where they belong and let them go.
ReplyDeleteScreaming with the heebee jeebee's here.
ReplyDeleteRats are not my favorite rodents. I kinda/sorta think mice are cute, though.
Thanks for a fun series of pictures. It's so neat that you captured these.
A+
aawww...even though it's a rat, it still looks cute (well, at least in the photos!).
