  1. Everything is fine until we get to that last photograph. If I was a rat's spin doctor I would encourage it to dump its' tail.

  2. Yes, Alan has a point. Until you see the giveaway tail, you're simply viewing a gorgeous little bundle of fur. Who couldn't love it? Then...you're reminded, it's a RAT! You're supposed to not like or wish to pet those! Hard, when they, too, are so appealing ;)

    Super pictures, H!

  4. We used to live in Nanaimo, BC. had a compost box, found one day it had been converted into a high-rise apartment block for rats. When adding compost, a sentinal rat would peer up at us to see what was coming. Then he would report back to the others below. " Do we want orange peel lads?" "No?" " OK No orange peel mister." " Thanks all the same"
Nice clock. Where did you get it?

  7. Like Gattina, I fear no rat. However, I can't truthfully say that I find any rat cute!

The name vermin fits them well, for me.

  10. Ugh! We have a mouse and I have seen it a few times. NOT in the trap. I say I'm not afraid until I think about it running across my feet or on my counter...ick!

  13. From time to time I see beady eyes down in our feed shed, so I know that there are rats around, but they are more afraid of me than I am of them.

  14. We have pack rats here. They are really cute but they are known to eat the wiring in one's car. We use a safe trap, then take them out into the desert where they belong and let them go.

  15. Screaming with the heebee jeebee's here.

Rats are not my favorite rodents. I kinda/sorta think mice are cute, though.

Thanks for a fun series of pictures. It's so neat that you captured these.

    A+
