Sky lines at Stanage Edge

While I was up at Stanage Edge, some pretty clear vapour trails were drawing lines across the sky. For now, I'll put aside my thoughts of carbon emissions and global warming, to enjoy the beauty of seeing the streaks of white against a 'hint of spring' sky. I hope you enjoy them too.

I'm linking in to Jenny Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday where the letter of the week is V.

  1. Vapor trails can indeed be fun to watch form then dissipate. I especially like them at sunset, but they are lovely in your photos too!

  3. They are very beautiful. I was very moved by the empty skies when the ash cloud shut down flying too. I think I come down on the side of emptiness, in the end.
